Cucumber and Mint Infused Water

Many people find water sits in their new stomach quite heavily after surgery or can have a metallic taste to it. Adding something to water can help to change the surface tension making it less dense and more tolerable. It also helps to make water more exciting and can encourge a greater intake! This infused water recipe is quick and easy to make and will last in the fridge a few days, that is if your haven’t got through it all in one day!

Add mint and cucumber into your drink bottle for a fancy infused drink to take on the go!

  • Prep: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 4 Cups

Ingredients:

  • 6cm chunk of cucumber, finely sliced
  • 1 bunch of mint
  • 4 cups of cold water
  • 12 ice cubes (optional)

Method:

  1. Add the sliced cucumber and mint leaves to a jug
  2. Add the water and icecubes and serve
